Mr. Md. Shahidul Islam, District Food Controller, Barguna. There was a total of 2 (two) Hasking Rice Mill in this district till he took over the responsibility of District Food Controller, Barguna. After his arrival, due to his personal efforts, 27 (seven hundred) Hasking Rice mills are present in this district. He went to the Millar's door and encouraged them and licensed them. He has meant to them that if you are licensed then the government will buy rice through you, it will be as good as you can, and the government will procure rice. On the other hand, the government will get revenue of thousands of taka. Millers can also trade commercially. As a result, now Barguna district is getting less than a year and there is an interest in the mills. It is the success of the current District Food Controller, Barguna.
